Pastoral Council Meeting Minutes
October 17, 2007

Vince Hurley called the meeting to order at 7:40 pm.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as written.
Spaghetti Dinner, Sunday, November 4: Gary Smith will purchase the groceries and wine for the dinner. Tony Sabatino will be the chef again this year. Ali Dwyer has volunteered to call parishioners to make cakes for dessert.
Parish Plan Presentation: Ali and Richard Dwyer gave the power point presentation of the Parish Plan. A status category was added. Changes and edits were made by the parish council members with the consensus of the council. The plan was approved unanimously by the council. A rehearsal is planned after the corrections have been made.
Ali Dwyer will present the plan after the spaghetti dinner, with Fr. Paul giving the welcome.
Reports will be given by Rose Walsh from the Stewardship Council, Bill Locke-Paddon from the Finance Council, Susan Mahan for Faith Formation and Fr. Paul for Liturgy.
All council members were asked to arrive at 1:00 pm on the day of the event to set up tables and chairs and help where needed.
We will have sign up sheets at all of the masses on October 20, 21, 27 and 28.
Next weekend Bob Erbe will announce the Spaghetti Dinner and Plan Presentation at the 5:00 pm Mass, Pat Golditch at the 8:00 am Mass and Vince Hurley at the 10:00 am Mass.
Events:
Wine Tasting and Auction:
$28,000.00 was raised at the Wine Tasting and Auction this year. Russ and Loree Borelli
have volunteered to chair the event next year.
Parish Play-Friday, November 30 and Saturday, December 1
Play tickets will be available after Mass starting Saturday, November 3. It was asked that a flyer be emailed to the parishioners to be forwarded to friends and family.

• There is a leak in the roof above the sacristy making it evident that we need to focus on raising funds for the roof repair.
