Ali Dwyer called the meeting to order at 7:35 pm.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as written.
Fr. Joe Grimaldi -
Fr. Joe introduced himself and spoke about his background.
He asked the council to gather information concerning the times of the weekday Masses.
He will continue to work at the hospital for nine hours a week until a replacement is found and trained.
He suggested we use a program called, Are you a Welcoming Parish? In this program each of the ministries would evaluate themselves. These evaluations would be analyzed by a supervisory board. The review will lead to commendations and recommendations.
Fr. Joe also spoke about tithing versus collections, which he will bring up to the Finance Council.

To date we now have over $26,000 donated by 94 families.
Events:
• Parish BBQ- Sunday June 22
Tickets will go on sale the first weekend in June. The cost is $10.00 for beef or chicken and
$5.00 for hotdogs.
Parish Needs List:
• Bell Tower :
Peter Truman will be asked about the progress of the Bell Tower .
• Classroom Roof Repair
Paul Vitali and Bob Erbe and other volunteers are working once a week replacing the screws in the classroom roof.

• Fr. Joe has agreed with Fr. Paul in that the Council stay on another year until he is familiar
with everyone and he does not want to make any changes for now.
• Fr. Joe stated that the liturgies can be done differently but the essential parts of the Mass should remain the same
• It was suggested that the yearly second collection list be available to the Parish.
and that envelopes for parish development be available for the 1 st of the month collection.
